.CO Domains

As the .COM domain extension is the most famous in the world, a lot of attractive, memorable .COM domain names have already been registered. This makes it tougher for companies and individuals to register a good domain, so if you are looking for a substitute, among the alternatives you can consider is Columbia’s country-specific top-level domain extension – .CO. The extension was launched for free registration in 2009 and has been growing in reputation since then. Not only is it like Dot COM, but a lot of attractive .CO domains are still vacant for registration. Not counting personal websites, the domain name extension can be used for COmpanies, COmpetitions, COlleges, and so on. Loads of international businesses also use .CO domains for easier access to their websites, for example – American Express (amex.co), Twitter (t.co), and others.

What sets .CO apart from other ccTLDs is its international character. Even though the domain is assigned to Colombia, dot CO domains can be purchased by foreign entities as well – something, which has had an enormous impact on the World Wide Web. Google has affirmed in an official announcement that dot CO websites that have global content will also get their respective rank in Google’s global search results. In this way, with the dot CO domains that we offer, you can choose whether you would like to target the global market or just Colombia. If you purchase such a domain through our company, it is going to be live soon after that, so you can start building your website right away. If the chosen dot COM domain is already registered, then this would be your best choice.
